Obed is an Associate Advocate in the Firm where he is seconded in the Dispute Resolution Department and performs routine Corporate and Commercial transactions.

Obed’s areas of practice include: Employment Law, Environment and Land Law, Constitutional litigation, Intellectual Property law, Commercial Litigation and General Corporate and Commercial law. 

Obed is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Law Society of Kenya and has an LLB from the University of Nairobi. He is undertaking his Masters of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate and Financial Law at the University of Nairobi. He is also a Student Member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (CS).

1. Employment and Labour Relations – Advising and acting for various clients on employment law including, termination, dismissal, redundancy, and work injury.

2. Constitutional Litigation – advising and acting for Clients in Constitutional petitions.

3. Environment and Land law – represented and advised clients on various land disputes including compulsory acquisition, illegal allocation and acquisition of land and adverse possession.

4. Alternative Dispute Resolution – has represented various Clients in Arbitration and Mediation sessions.

5. Corporate and Commercial Law – advised numerous Clients on company procedures and registration of IP related rights in Kenya and regionally.
