Overview
Pitson is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with 7 years of experience in legal practice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre in Kampala. He is a member of both the Uganda Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.
He has a strong focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution, corporate and commercial litigation, and land law. He has represented clients in complex matters involving corporate crime, tort, negligence, and regulatory compliance. He is also experienced in electricity sector disputes, land acquisition and disposal, and construction-related litigation. Land and Property Law - Advising on land acquisition and disposal, boundary and survey disputes, trespass claims, and compliance with construction and planning regulations.
Energy Sector Disputes - Representing licensees in the electricity sector in litigation and regulatory compliance matters, with a focus on rights enforcement and dispute resolution.
