Overview
Ruth’s key areas of specialisation are corporate – commercial, conveyancing and data privacy. She is also well versed in the law surrounding mergers and acquisitions, alternative dispute resolution and employment. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Hons.) Degree from Strathmore University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law, from the Kenya School of Law, and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Additionally, she is a Certified Professional Mediator from KARL Mediation and Arbitration Centre and has completed the CIPIT Data Protection Course at the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology.
Experience
Corporate Commercial – reviewing of contracts, regulatory compliance of companies and provide legal advisory on competition law.
Conveyancing- undertake legal due diligence of properties, reviewing and drafting sale agreement, lease agreements and other conveyancing instruments.
Data Protection- undertake data protection compliance of various companies and offering trainings to companies on data protection compliance.
Employment – provide legal advisory and drafting employment policies and employment contracts.
